@StationSquareW To be fair, no one is 100% sure about BoF4 place in the timeline, but I think it being in the past is the best explanation (dragons as gods, now becoming mortals because of the events of the true ending, makes sense to me)

No, BoF4 is not an alternate universe, it´s the first one in the timeline, this is evidenced at the very end of the true ending, when one of the empire survivors (forgot his name now) made a reference that soon he would create Myria (final boss in every past BoF game), which makes sense, since he created all those monsters from people.Momo´s probably just a cameo. Teepo and Rei appear as well, and they never explained how.
